Our Angels are now at Rush Inter Pet Cemetery
Sunshine was born in 1979, raised for a year in another Dewey household. She came to us in 1980. She was the only long hair in the bunch, and always got all the attention when taken for walks. She loved her pillow, watching her bird video and just talking up a storm.
Sunshine passed away on December 4, 1996, after losing her battle with cancer. She died in our arms at 1:00am early that Wednesday morning.
We buried her at daybreak in a special part of the back yard near the garage. Sunshine loved the mornings. She loved listening to the birds start singing. She loved the sunshine as it streamed in through the windows. She loved waking up to each and every new day.
We will miss Sunshine dearly -- her brothers and sisters will, too -- but we know she had a wonderful life here on earth. She brought so much joy into out lives here and, now, God has chosen her to spread that joy in heaven. She'll be in good, loving hands.
