Our Eleven Little Angels

have been laid to rest at

Rush Inter Pet Cemetery

On Friday, August 28, 1998, we laid our Four Little Angels -- Sunshine, Lucy Belle, Simon Milosz and Charlie Brown -- to their permanent rest at the beautiful Rush Inter Pet Cemetery in Rush, New York. This place is now our Heaven on Earth. Our Angels final resting spot, in the newest garden section of the cemetery, offers morning and evening shade and plenty of sunshine during the day. Deer graze nearby at dawn and at dusk. It is just a very, very peaceful place.

On Monday, May 21, 2001, Nel, Pip and Harvey were also laid to rest in our family plot.

Our beloved Slate was laid to rest alongside his brothers and sisters on Friday, July 20, 2001.

On Friday, November 30, 2001, Ruthie and Isis were laid to enternal rest beside Slate.

Our sweet Opie Buttercup was laid to rest alongside Isis on Friday, November 1, 2002.

As of June, 2007 we now have 19 cats in our family plot at Rush Inter Pet:

If We Never Meet Again This Side of Heaven*

Soon we'll come to the end of life's journey

And perhaps we'll never meet anymore

Till we gather in heaven's bright city

Far away on that beautiful shore

REFRAIN: If we never meet again this side of heaven

As we struggle through this world and its strife

There's another meeting place somewhere in heaven

By the side of the river of life

Where the charming roses bloom, forever

And where separation come no more

If we never meet again this side of heaven

I will meet you on that beautiful shore

Oh they say we shall meet by the river

Where the storm clouds never darken the sky

And they say we'll be happy in heaven

In that wonderful sweet by and by

[REFRAIN]

Oh so often we are parted with sorrow

And action often quietens our pain

But we never shall sorrow in heaven

God be with you till we meet again

[REFRAIN]

*You are listening to "If We Never Meet Again This Side of Heaven", Paul's favorite hymn written by Albert E. Brumley and sung by Leon Redbone. We found an absolutey wonderful rendition of this hymn, sung by The Ambassadors of Seoul, Korea. If you have Real Audio you can hear it HERE (file name: meet.rm, 348K), otherwise you may listen to the Wav version. Because of its size, we've broken the Wav file into three parts... First Verse (file name: Verse1.wav, 300K), Second Verse (file name: Verse2.wav, 288K) and the Refrain (file name: Refrain.wav, 629K). Enjoy.
